At the time the collector of rare collectible motorcycles traded it in on a luxury motor home in order to travel the nation in comfort. He stated that the 1948 Indian, the 1947 CZ and the 1947 Norton motorcycle had been shown in 179 shows and had won first place 179 times.
Each of the old motorcycles received National Senior 1sts at the prestigious Hershey PA AACA Fall meet.
