1970 BSA Bobber for Sale

The 1970 BSA Bobber for Sale started out as a 1970 BSA Lightning 650 that was correctly hard tailed and currently has a Frisco mount sporty tank and drag pipes.

The has been completely and professionally taken apart and bored 20 over with all new internals. It has new coils, ignition and has been completely rewired and also converted to a 650 thunderbolt head so that it could run a single carb.

My original plan was to make an intake so that I would be able to run a bigger Harley carb with a choke on it. It currently has a stock amal on it and runs just fine.


This is a completely finished motorcycle other than it needs paint. The tins are currently bare metal.


I rode this bad boy, 1970 BSA the better part of last summer like this.

The bike sat in my garage all winter, until the beginning of this month. I pulled her out, put gas in her and she fired on the second kick. I love this bike and have owned her for several years now and I hate to get rid of her but just sort of want something different.

I am not forced to sale, and wouldn't mind keeping it as I really enjoy riding it.

I've probably invested double what I'm asking in all new parts and the complete motor rebuild.
