1970 Yamaha XS650 for Sale

The 1970 Yamaha XS650 for Sale is a complete motorcycle. The 1970 Yamaha XS 650 yamaha currently has less than 20,000 miles total miles on it which is amazingly low mileage for a vintage Yamaha motorcycle like this.

The old Yamaha motorcycle for sale is located in Rock Hill South Carolina (York County) and my asking price is a very cheap $1000.00 firm.

Any idiot that thinks a 1970 bike should sell for the same as it did when new, is just that. My 70 xs1 is fully restored and I would not take 6 times what it sold for new. Hell a nice one recently sold at auction for 7500 with a frame repair and a primo one went for 14,500. You should know what you are talking about before you sling random comments like that. The XS1 is indeed rare in very nice condition as is the XS1B.

sold?
by: Doc Wood

Listen, I'm 62, and earned a full race XS-1B
with the monster 750 kit and 800cc hemi-domed
pistin running on titanium rods, for passing and
keeping a two lap lead, of King Kenny in late October 1970. His dad owned the Yamaha shop in
Modesto, CA back in the day. We both rode race
set bikes, with engine kits, koni shocks, run-
flat rims and Dunlop K-70 tires. Kenny's dad
delivered the bike up to where I lived; in
Redding, CA the first week of November 1970.
I had that bike for two years, selling it in
late winter 1972 in Sacramento.

what the market will bear
by: shesellsseashellsbytheseashore

Sounds to me like some disgruntled yet knowing and interested buyers or should I say opportunists. It does NOT matter what the bike sold for in 1972 or who paid $600.00 for the same bike.

Now then I should make it known that I haven't seen the bike for sale, but old Japanese (Jap) motorcycle collectors are beginning to pay more for the early stuff for restoration. How many of these were sold here? How many went to the scrap yard? How many were taken apart to build into something custom only to get sold off in used parts. And..finally how many were transformed into bobbers, cafe racers or custom motorcycles of one kind or another?

My answer to all of the above would be too many. With that being said the market will bear the price because these early XS's are slowly disappearing.

If you want one; don't wait for a cheap price..you may find that you've waited too long.
