The 1982 Kawasaki M1 750 CSR Parallel Twin for sale is a fast running bike that is in original condition except that the Motorcycle's Paint was renewed in 2010 and I installed a new battery in 2011.

I understand that this motorcycle was only imported to the United States and Canada for one year.

It currently has 25,600 miles on it the engine has good compression and the motorcycle cranks well with either the kick or the electric starter. Every system was checked and corrected on this bike in early 2011 by old Kawasaki professionals.

I have ridden it to Daytona, Florida from Tampa (140 miles one way) to Miami (280 miles one way) and to Tallahassee (245 miles one way) and it rode very comfortably.

The bike can hang with the big bore bikes on trips but unlike the dressers its handling is very agile. I can take the twistys on it with greater ease than with the larger cruiser.

This bike has embarrassed a couple of Harley Sportsters. I'm not trying to convert anyone to switch from a Harley to a Kawasaki, I just want to brag about it a bit because it looks good and it runs Go HERE to SEE MORE great.

I have seen another 750 CSR transformed into a total attitude Cafe' racer and it can stand up to the challenge.

I am asking $2000 for it and I am not adverse to long distance deals if we use PayPal and you arrange for transportation. I can get the bike to where ever it needs to be to be shipped.

The motorcycle is in Tampa, Florida if you need that information to calculate shipping costs and
if you need to contact me you can do so by using the space below that has been provided by Strike Lightning Used Kawasaki Motorcycles for Sale (and PLEASE do not neglect to include your contact information in your email or to provide a phone number or email address!) so that I can respond with answers to your questions or after consideration of your best offer as quickly as possible.

Great Bike
by: Walt

I purchased this as a graduation present for my wife. It was a great bike for her to start learning to ride. The great low end torque gave it a smooth start and good acceleration. We still have this bike and I took over riding it many years ago when our daughter was born. It has been a great bike. Did have to do a top end job on it because of a head gasket blowing, but the bike has been a joy to have and ride. Would love to hear what other riders thought of theirs.

82 KAW 750 CSR - underappreciated gem
by: Anonymous

Had an 82 KAW 750 CSR that I bought new in 83. NEVER had any big mechanical problems with this machine. Took the wife to Cape Cod on our honeymoon. 1500 miles round trip - no complaints from either of us. Only issues: small oil leak around oil filter housing and a seepage where tach. cable entered the cam case. Both easy fixes.

Besides, I was always able to 'hole shot' the superbikes of the era due to the monster low end torque inherent in a vertical twin motorcycle engine. True-they got me by third gear, but stop to stop light , I usually got 'em. :)

So, great cruiser, smooth trip bike, and sleeper as a street racer. why don't I still have it? Financial issues at the time. '<(
