Bought mine new in '87. I was in the dealer looking at bikes the day after it arrived as an unordered, random shipment from Honda Japan.

The dealer wasn't happy when he saw it but I was.

As a first motorcycle; it was perfect!

The Magna has turned out to be my only bike and I love it. I've ridden it every summer for over 30 years with zero problems other than issues that were rider inflicted.

I had it tuned every two years and changed oil the start of each summer and that's it!

I am now looking for a newer, greater HP bike. Something I've always planned to do but never gotten to. I'm now retired with riding years getting short and it's truly now or never.

I would like to do some weekend trips and need a bike I'll be comfortable with on the highway. Safe riding to you all!

The V30 had a bent rod from a previous owner letting it sit and not prepping it right prior to starting. A rod was bent. I'm having the motor rebuilt with new bearings, crank, engine gaskets/seals. I'm sealing the V65 for $5,000 OBO and the V30 for $4,000. I'm losing money on both, but looking for the next project. I have two 1980CB900 Customs and a 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 750. All nice rides completely serviced from tires to brakes. Just shoot me an e-mail, drswan@wildblue.net.
