The 1985 Honda XR200r has the semi-rare 4 valve, duel carburetor setup, a brand new clutch, brand new front and rear tires, KYB forks, rear adjustable suspension and it still has the original decals.

The dirt bike has a working trip meter and speedometer.

This vintage motorcycle even comes with the original toolkit, and original valve stem caps.

INFORMATION ON THE 1985 HONDA XR200R


When 1985 XR200R was for sale in 1985 the dirt bike came in just one color but that paint color was a winner called Flash Red.

The fuel tank decal was white and blue and really stood out against the red paint. The wing shaped decal on the plastic fuel tank was red, white, and blue. The yellow color of the front number panel and side panels was another standout against the red motorcycle frame and black engine.

In contrast, the dirt bike's rear tool bag and motorcycle seat were blue and the "XR" graphic on the seat was white. The "PRO-LINK" swingarm decal and the fork boots were blue.

Standout features of the 1985 Honda XR200r were its pro-link rear suspension, twin carburetors and twin head pipes.

The engine of the XR200r was an OHC, RFVC single cylinder displacing 199cc with a replaceable oil filter that was linked to a 6-speed transmission.

The serial number for this model began JH2ME0507FK100001.

The XR200 R will need an air filter and a headlight bulb. The overflows leak some fuel when it sits, which would be an easy fix simply by readjusting the floats. Other than that, it needs nothing and runs and shifts great.
