Sad thing is 1984 85 yz 125 and 250 was one of the best bikes they ever built but they are worth nothing I started restoring my 1984 yz 125 which is wicked fast after all the stuff I did to the motor I was gonna get new plastics etc complete restore but even after you restore one its worthless can get 600 out of it at most.

I have 1 of these bikes goes like a rocket and i wouldn't sell for less than £2000-00

A very rare bike i would hang onto it it will be worth double in another few years...

I have a 85 yz 250 for sale , they only go for $500 - $700 bucks . $1,350 is way to much , i'm only asking $500 for mine .

I bought an 85 250yz in Minneapolis Minnesota MN and that bike was every bit as good in the trails as my 2001 250yz. I would still be riding it if someone hadn't stole it right out of my garage. Don't think twice about buying the old YZ's. They are a great bike to enjoy.
