The 1986 Honda Goldwing Aspencade for sale is available for a "low low sacrificial" price. This 1986 Honda GL1200 Aspencade has just 67,000 miles on it and ALL of the motorcycle's electronics including signals, lights, gauges, radio, etc. work perfectly.

The Aspencade starts, idles, tracks, up and down shifts, brakes, handles, corners and balances perfectly with plenty of power and acceleration.

I bought used Honda motorcycle for sale last year with the intention that it would be my "final" bike for a few years at least.

A lot of work has gone into this bike!


It will need a new stator and a brand-new Rick's upgraded stator and gasket come with the sale, carb sync (carbs were re-built last summer) and some touch-up paint. Five cans of professionally mixed, matching paint also come with the sale.

The 1986 Goldwing needs a very small amount of work to be a great, dependable and good looking classic ride.

I ride this bike to work and/or running errands daily but I have bought another bike and this one needs a new home.

Tasks done refurbishing the 86 'wing:

Brand Dunlop 404 tires that now have less than 30 miles on them
Rebuilt carbs
New battery
New plugs
Flushed radiator
Flushed gas tank
New oil and filter
Cleaned air filter and housing
Changed final drive oil
Replaced fuel filter
Replaced antenna set with internal, powered antenna
ALL wiring harnesses have been cleaned as well as
all control cables

The title on the GL 1200 is clear.

The stator is putting out 12.3+- volts. You can find stator replacement instructions available on-line.


The value of the 1986 Honda Goldwing Aspencade (according to KBB) an '86 Aspencade in good to excellent condition's price should be around $2200-$2800 which is less than the new parts/tires included; they alone are worth over $600.
