The 1986 Honda Goldwing Special Edition for Sale in this ad was purchased three years ago and has been ridden by the owner only a couple of times since it was bought.

This past August I took the time to make it roadworthy in preparation for a trip to Indiana by buying new front and rear tires, changing the oil and installing a new filter, replacing a broken left reflector assembly and blinking switch fuse box.

After the updates and maintenance procedures were performed the motorcycle was taken by trailor to Indiana, ridden once and brought back home by trailor.

My reason for selling is that owner has concluded that he is too small and light to manage the bike as it takes two to pull it off the trailer. It was a matter of the owner's 132 pounds vs. the 1986 Honda Goldwing Special Edition's 950 lbs. or more.

The purchase of the motorcycle includes two saddle boxes on each side of the bike and a carrier box on back with a mounting rack above plus a nice, comfortable seat for a passenger to ride behind.

My asking price is $5000.00 but I am willing to negotiate as the bike does have some minor rust spots and a few minor scratches plus a speaker cover that was damaged or messed with by a previous owner.

The 1986 Honda Goldwing Special Edition for Sale is an older bike with 46590.5 miles currently ridden and parts should the motorcycle need repair in the future may be difficult to find as most shops do not stock them anymore.

As an example when I was shopping for the rear reflector assembly unit I had to search online and contact a junkyard in Florida and have them ship the part to Wisconsin.

All that being said the old Honda is economically priced and rides smooth as silk on the highway even though this model is just not designed for easy in town parking or backing up situations where a reverse gear would be necessary.
