The adjustable windscreen was adjustable to accommodate both short and taller riders and there was a convenint electronic cruise control and that reverse gear that has made so many Harley lovers chuckle…but even they have to admit that when you’re bike is fully loaded and parked on an incline that the reverse gear comes in handy. No more telling your passenger to hop off and PUSH! And speaking of passengers, passenger boards are standard on the 1988 and there are plenty of extras available to add on. ![]() SELL YOUR USED 1988 HONDA GOLDWING!

When you find a 1988 Honda Goldwing that you think you might like to buy, read the classified to see how the seller wants potential buyers to contact them because at times they prefer that you call them on the phone and other times they might prefer to be emailed. If you would like to contact the seller of a 1988 Goldwing for sale that fits your criteria, use the COMMENTS link found at the bottom of the classified ad to l your questions, make requests for more pictures or information and then leave your contact information and send it. The sellers should receive the e-mail and then get back with you in whatever way you specified IF he or she still has the Goldwing for sale. Sellers that post classifieds here are supposed to let me when they sell their Goldwings but sometimes they neglect to tell me their bikes sold so don’t get all huffy with me if they don’t email or call you back. HOW TO SELL YOUR 1988 HONDA GOLDWING The first step is writing a detailed description of your Goldwing using good grammar (PLEASE DON’T TYPE IN CAPS and spell check your ad). List as many details as you including the year model, a list of any accessories that you may have added over the years (and any factory parts that you kept that will come with the Goldwing), as well as any riding helmets, saddlebags, parts or gear that you are including in the deal. Take as many as four pictures of the 1988 Honda Goldwing for sale (or just one if you think that will do it) or if you would like you can skip this step completely. But if you do you should expect to get lots of (sarcastic) comments from potential buyers that want to know why there are no pictures on your classified! When you are done you can preview your Goldwing ad to be sure it looks like you want it to and then you can submit it. PLEASE consider checking the box that pops up after the preview indicating that you would prefer ONLY to receive e-mailed comments from potential buyers and not every single time a classified is posted here.
