SEE MORE HERE This set of Harley Davidson tins for sale would be perfect if you're interested in changing the color of your motorcycle, adding custom designs to a unique Harley Davidson color, or they would make an awesome set of factory painted, Road King size finish for your custom bike project. When the Harley Davidson motorcycle company was finished filling their law enforcement orders (Black and White paint color option) in 2000, Harley offered this unique color blue for those with Road King pre-orders. It is understood that they painted a limited number of motorcycles (only 300 bikes) with this special blue paint color that year. Pleast take notice of the unique "hockey puck" closing mechanism on the top of each saddlebag. A saddlebag with this style of handle is used exclusively by Harley Davidson for law enforcement (police) motorcycles. If you happen not to like the look of the hockey puck candles you can buy an aftermarket chrome push button closure for about $20 per bag to replace them and still have gotten them at a discount. The locks from the saddlebags have been removed but are for sale at your local Harley-Davidson dealership. After about 2,500 miles of riding this summer, I bought a black set and had a Harley Davidson mechanic convert the bike over and add some chrome. The blue set was wrapped in the cotton and padding material that the black set was shipped in then stored away and forgotten until now. Please accept my apologies if the pictures show me in the photos but this does go to show that the reflection from the beautiful paint is awesome although there are some very, very small wear spots since I did ride with it briefly. These tins and saddlebags are top quality, original Harley Davidson parts that I know will fit a 2000 model but I am unsure what additional years of the Road King they will fit.
