I added self canceling signal lights, a halogen flashing break light as well as a high beam flasher with light sensor that modulates the high beams during the daylight hours and works normally at night. GO HERE TO SEE MORE! I recently moved to Texas from Florida where I rode the BMW a fair amount but it still has less than 14,000 total miles. Now I live just a mile from work and have a mountain bike to ride so I hardly ever use the 2005 BMW 650 DAKAR for sale. I thought I should just offer it for sale to someone who would be able to enjoy it more. I bought the motorcycle second hand from a dealer up north and have added a lot of upgrades. For instance: I had a custom leather saddle made by the famous Rick Mayer Custom. There is a Cee Bailey windshield (slightly larger than the original windshield that will be included). The motorcycle's rear tire was recently replaced. I also have a couple of special tools that are necessary for oil changes and valve adjustments, spare brake pads plus I just put a new BMW battery (2 year warranty) in it today. And it has a Formotion thermometer. What is wrong with the bike (disclosure): There are the usual scuff marks on the suitcases (just normal luggage wear). The front tire has some wear and there is a scratch on each end of the handlebar weights that were there when I bought the motorcycle. As is common with all of the 650 Rotax engines that still have the Original OEM oil drain plug, there is a drop of oil on the plug every now and again.
