The 3 vintage HARLEY DAVIDSON BASKET CASES for sale come as a package deal. Only! The motorcycle basket cases can not be sold separately or parted out because I have moved and lost storage and have no place to keep them.
A complete 1965 Harley Davidson sportster.
The 1965 sporty comes as a complete motorcycle minus the footpegs that some scumbag stole off of it.

You get FLH tins and a solo seat but the motor needs a complete rebuild.
My brother bought this in an ebay auction that was listed as a good running motorcycle and paid $3800.00 for it but it never would run. The motorcycle mechanic tore into it and said every bolt on it had been over torqued which resulted in small cracks at nearly every bolt hole. At this stage brother lost interest in rebuilding but it comes with a good title.
A 1978 Harley Sportster, bought from our local motorcycle shop that has been in business for right at 40 years. A guy brought it in in 1980 because it wouldn't crank. The technician said that all it would take to fix it would be to clean the fuel tank and lines and rebuild the carburetor but the owner insisted on a complete rebuild. At his insistence the tech re-balanced and re-bearinged the flywheels, rebuilt the transmission completely and reworked the case bearings, bushings, etc. At this point he contacted the owner for a draw on the work he had already done before proceeding further but the owner never returned his call or brought any money. So, the mechanic put the Sportster in storage where I found it in 2006 still sporting the 1980 tag and inspection sticker with only 5200 original miles on the odometer. Its front-end appears to be 2-3 inches over plus it has an oil cooler, highway bars, a king and Queen motorcycle seat, extra chrome, black color tins with a single red stripe painted down the center. The Sportster's seat has a matching red stripe. I bought the motorcycles with a bill of sale and it sells with same. We do have the original owner's name and have called in numbers to the (NC) North Carolina DMV to verify that the motorcycle hasn't been stolen.
The motor needs put back together and the top end will have to be honed/re-ringed as it does not need boring. The bike is complete in nearly new condition.
A complete 1973 Harley Davidson Aermacchi 125 Sprint with 3800 original miles on it. This bike is complete but the turn signals and the clutch lever arm broken after a fall in the garage. The accident also put a few minor dings dings in the gas tank and the dry rotted seat cover will need to be replaced but otherwise this is a decent little bike that mainly just needs a real good cleaning/polishing up to bring its full potential.
I said it before and I'll say it again so please do not write me to ask about separating the three Harley Davidson basket cases.
Pictures of everything I've mentioned in the ad are available on request. You are welcome to requests for those of individual parts or everything if you need them.
The motorcycle shop that the 78 came from is still open and run by the same fellow so the new owner possibly could get him to help you with a mechanics lien title.
