It has a lower profile than the other Shorty Bell helmets which appeals to bikers of all ages although more mature riders prefer the flat black (matte), gunmetal and titanium helmets over the "in your face" graphics on some of the Drifters.
KIDS HELMETS
Bell helmets even come in kids sizes for all the usual categories. My girls had the Giro bicycle helmet on their Christmas gift list. I found this amazing because we have an all out battle each and every time I tell them that they have to put on a helmet before they ride their bikes. The arguments have been many and have resulted in them being sent to their rooms on more than one occasion. The only conclusion that I could come to was that their request had more to do with the fact that they think the new helmets are cute than a sudden concern with safety. But you can bet that Santa went looking for those girls’ Bell helmets before they changed their minds.
