Best Motorcycle Polish

Can anybody tell me what's the best motorcycle polish that you've ever used? Do you have an opinion on the best wax for motorcycles? What about the best motorcycle CHROME polish? Do you buy custom formulated wax and polish especially for your motorcycle or do you use the same products for your car as you do your bike?

WHY AM I ASKING?
Well, with the weather so nasty and cold right now it's not the best time to be out riding. But it IS a great time to get the ride looking good and to get it ready when spring rolls around.


But...it seems like I'm getting ads feeling both my e-mail and my postal mailbox every day saying that THEIR motorcycle polish is better than the rest and that it's easy to apply.

When I saw an ad this morning from some company that claims they have the best motorcycle polish because their formula contains some of the same chemicals that are used to clean jewelry and that would make my motorcycle paint sparkle like diamonds...I thought...that's IT!

Since there's no consumer reports telling us which is the best motorcycle polish, I thought I'd ask you...what kind of wax or chrome polish:

a. is easy to use

b. protects the paint and chrome

c. makes all of the above sparkle like crazy!



Can you please make recommendations so that I can stop wondering if the claims made by these companies are bogus AND stop wasting money on trying one product after another looking for the Holy Grail of all waxes and polishes?
