I wanted to share a funny story that a friend told me about a day he went shopping with a buddy for a BMW motorcycle windshield similar to the one that's for sale in this ad.

HERE'S HIS STORY


While out riding last week, me and my buddy stopped at A&S. Both of us were riding on Harley Davidson Full Dressers. We were on a mission to check out the new CL1200 that we'd been been drooling over. After we'd taken a look, it came time to go home my bike wouldn't crank.

How humiliating for this to happen in front of a BMW motorcycle shop. I suppose the sales staff wondered what a couple of Harley riders needed with a BMW motorcycle windshield anyway.

After checking all of the fuses, relays and verifying that the battery was clocking at 12+ volts, I walked back into the service department scratching my head and asking for help.

In a very short time, one of the BMW motorcycle technicians (sorry, I can't remember his name) produced a battery load tester that indicated the problem was a DEAD battery - Ignition Interuptus. I have to give 5 stars to the hospitality and helpful attitude.

Anyway, it gave me a little time to test drive one of the BMW's and the suggestion was made to trade in my HD for a new Black 2003 K1200LTC. After getting a good offer for a trade in, we made a quick deal.

I went in as a Harley guy shopping with a friend for a used BMW Motorcycle WINDSHIELD for SALE and came out riding a brand new BMW motorcycle.
