I'm primarily interested in trading for a bobcat, skid steer, 1998 Cummins extended cab or a Duramax; just make me an offer. The worst I can say is "no" and I can add a little cash if needed

Would have to repaint the bike.
if the owner had any historical cache or market value they would have kept bike in its original form true to harley davidson and Fatboy.
it looks like many imatators pirates that cheapened the look and style that has since became legendary. It would take ten grand to make this bike look presentable and turn heads.

Some people make comments that need to be pulled up over. You can't just go out and buy one of these classics today, they are few and far between, and remember this, if you keep something long enough it becomes collectible, and with that comes a higher price tag.

They sold new for approx. $16,500 au. and only produced low 2200 from memory. You may not think its worth more,but there are many others out there that would think its a bargain.

One recently sold in the US for $19,000 us, thats $27,000 canadian where it was sold to. Look up the history of the Silver Fatboy.

Well the book price only reflects the standard model and does not show the rare models as this bike should bring a premium price since there were so few made and not many around anymore.

Way too much. Great bike, but even in a hundred percent condition with less than a thousand miles it only books for six grand. Remember, when selling a bike it doesn't matter how much you have into it, its how much its worth to someone else.
