On the other hand, if you’re riding a HD, somehow it just doesn’t look right to me not to wear the same brand of boots. Call me obsessive or stuck in a rut and yeah, I know as well as the next guy that there are other name brands that have steel toes, oil resistant soles and top quality leather similar to Harley boots.
Now I will turn the subject of Women’s Harley boots over to the ladies that know more about what is stylish in footwear that may protect their pretty feet should they be involved in a wreck.

I agree with Evo that if you own or ride a Harley, you should dress accordingly. No other brand will do for this biker chick when on my or my dude’s Hawg. A few years back, Harley boots for women were nothing more than guy’s black leather boots that you bought in a small size. But these days, you can actually spend some real time shoe shopping and never try on all the cool, lady’s biker boots in this brand alone!
And talking about style, I thought I was attached to my old dipstick boots until I tried a pair of Harley Davidson Sedona boots. I almost bought a similar pair called Beverly but wasn’t sure how I felt about the large Harley logo on the side. These are my favorite winter boots of all time! My calves are rather muscular, so they were a little snug in the beginning, but the leather softened up quickly and I like the adjustable straps so that I can tighten them if I don’t have on thick socks. When the weather warms up I’ll trade in my knee high Harley Davidson boots for my ankle boots. But I’m going to wear these until I just can’t take the heat because the leather is so much softer than the leather of the. I know this is partly because of the steel shank that (as Evo pointed out) protects our feet and legs in a crash so I’m not complaining but I’m going to miss my Harley Sedona motorcycle boots!

I wear my beloved knee boots every day in winter with everything from a business pants suit and jeans to a skirt. In the summer, more often than not when I ride I wear my mid-calf Hustin boots and sometimes my ankle boots which are probably not the best motorcycle boots for protection but they are cooler.

At the end of the day, what girl wants to dance in lug sole or platform Harley Davidson boots? They always look sexy enough but they are a real move killer if you know what I mean. You can always shuck the boots and hit the dance floor barefoot for fun. But when you are somewhere formal, it’s good to know that you can dress up with spike heel sandals and slides that will drive your old man wild!
