Be A Part of the Heart
Join us for the 3rd annual Cpl. Kevin Clarke Memorial Motorcycle Run in Illinois to benefit The Heart of A Marine Foundation that will take place on Sunday September 13th, 2009.
Kevin Clarke, who grew up in Tinley Park, was just one month past his 21st birthday and was at the end of his second deployment when he was killed in a firefight. He was killed by small arms fire in western Al-Anbar province Iraq on February 19th, 2005.
This motorcycle event is to honor Kevin as well as all who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Registration will commence at 7:00am, at Tinley Park American Legion Post 615 located at 17423 S. 67th Court.
Kickstands will be up at 10:30am on the dot. The run will go to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery for a memorial ceremony and then return to Post 615 to enjoy food, entertainment, raffles and a silent auction.
Registration fees are $15 for riders and $10 for their passengers.
Cars as well as motorcycles are welcomed to participate.
There will be an optional pancake breakfast from 7-10am that morning that will be hosted by the American Legion Riders for a $5.00 fee. The first 50 registered riders will enjoy a free pancake breakfast.
