Motorcycle Want Ad Bulletin Board

I had noticed that the number of parts, fuel tanks, seats and stock or used exhaust queries had started to wreck the layout of other pages. While this had not gone without notice, I didn’t really know what to do to fix it except to trust that the search engines would direct my visitors to the motorcycle want ads even if they were buried in with lots classifieds for motorcycles for sale or trade.

Then, the other day I got a note from a subscriber to Strike Lightning’s motorcycle classifieds saying that he was very appreciative that we had helped him to sell his bike really fast. He indicated that he was looking for used parts and accessories for a vintage motorcycle that he was restoring and wanted to know if I had a bulletin board where he could post the items he wanted to buy. After I responded with my dilemma, he suggested that I create a place for items wanted or a trading post where people could list their items wanted to buy, sell or trade.
This category may not be as easily navigation-wise to use as the areas advertising used motorcycles for sale to start off with. But we here at Strike Lightning have problems telling a friend that we aren’t interested in trying something new or helping him find rare parts and accessories that will help him (or her) to build a motorcycle that will make their dreams come true. So, bear with us as this biker website works through its growing pains and hopefully becomes the "go to" place where you can post your motorcycle want ad and know that someone will eventually see your classified and contact you regarding the ad listing your items wanted to buy.
HOW TO WRITE A GREAT MOTORCYCLE WANT AD
The best way to find the parts or motorcycle wanted to buy is writing a detailed description of the items wanted (PLEASE DON’T TYPE IN CAPS and spell check your ad) including information such as the year model, parts numbers or the accessories that you need, the more details the better. Also, an indication as to whether you are looking for aftermarket parts, or will accept new, used or stock parts may save some time. If you want to buy stuff like riding helmets you should include the color and size that you want.
You should consider posting (as many as four photos of the items you want to buy).pictures of the items if you have them to give visitors a clear view of what you want.
After you submit your motorcycle want ad, it’s a good idea to check the box (that pops up after the preview )indicating that you would prefer to ONLY be sent comments when someone leaves comments and questions rather than to make your phone number and/or email address public and have your email filled up with a lot of spam.
