I have heard more than a few grumbles and complaints over the years that so many motorcycle rides and rallies seem to be geared towards bikers who have a Harley. Their feelings were that if you owned a foreign motorcycle and didn’t ride a Hawg that you stuck out like a sore thumb at the rally. Well, I have to say that I have never felt that kind of prejudice because so many of the events in my area are fundraisers for charity where anybody with a pulse was welcomed with open arms. But the good news is that bikers who do feel out of place in a crowd of Harley fans can enjoy the Oklahoma motorcycle rally called the Wing Ding which is the annual Goldwing Riders Association Rally.

And being the home of so many Patriotic bikers, you can bet there will be enough Oklahoma motorcycle events and rides on the 4th of July to more than fill your calendar on July 4th. The grills will be fired up ready to barbeque some of the finest beef steaks and burgers in the United States to celebrate the day. Bikers are some of the most independent individuals in the USA. So next to Christmas, Independence Day is probably their favorite holiday. So get ready to plant your kickstand and celebrate Oklahoma style!
