A complete 1974 right side shift sportster motor 030 over 1000 that was taken off of a show motorcycle. The motor was completely rebuilt and now has exactly 2610 miles since the rebuild.
I took the bike to the motorcycle shop for some work in the idiot tech installed oil lines to tank backwards. After I trailer the motorcycle back home I was doing my best to figure out why bike's engine was smoking like hell. When I cranked it I heard the piston slap as it was tearing down the top end and the rod had excessive freeplay plus the cylinders were also scored and it will need a 010-020 boring. The
rocker boxes are anodized gold but it is flaking from the heat. The primary, gearcase, covers, 12 V generator, starter, etc. are all in good condition. The chrome and all the other extras that were bought new 2610 miles ago include the S&S super E shorty, breather, mounts plus I have the shifter crossover and shift pedals.
