Vintage 1967 Lil Indian Papoose Mini bike for Sale

The vintage 1967 Indian Papoose Mini bike for Sale has the original orange color paint and the gas tank is even in great condition! The motor is missing and there is one handlebar grip missing and the minibike's seat needs to be reupholstered, but other than that it's all there and ready to restore and ride.

The Indian mini bike for sale was held hostage in my boss' garage for over 30 years or more. The reason it's never been for sale before this is that he was going to restore it.

He removed the bike's engine and gave it to one of his clients (he is an attorney) who was supposed to repair it but I don't know where the engine is today or where the client is. The last we heard, he was living in Hagerstown, Maryland and we have no phone number or address thus the Lil Papoose currently has no engine.

All other parts on the Lil Indian mini bike are original although as I mentioned its seat needs to be reupholstered and there is one handle bar grip missing. Other than the missing motor that was removed for repairs and never returned, it is all there.

Indian papoose powered by Jacobsen
by: Anonymous

To the owner of the Indian papoose with the Jacobsen engine. I built one just like this with a two stroke Jacobsen engine in the early 1960's in Cleveland Ohio but I have no idea what became of it. I know I sold it or traded it to someone in my neighborhood(west side) but I wonder if it is same one. Are you in North eastern Ohio? There can't be to many Jacobsen powered Indian Paposes out there. Looks more like a motorcycle
by: Anonymous

The Indian I have is a Papoose - at least that is what the decal on it says which is the original decal. It looks like a mini Indian motorcycle and not a scooter, a bicycle or a regular mini bike such as the one in the video. Thanks for putting the video out there. I wonder if the Jacobson engine would work and if I could find one. The mini bike I have is 1967.

1967 Lil Indian Mini Bike
by: Anonymous

I found this 1967 Lil Indian Mini Bike Video that has some footage of a rare Lil Indian mini bike. These rare collectibles are smaller than your normal mini bike by a long shot, but it looks to have plenty of pulling power by how easy it's pulling the grown man riding it in the pictures.

The guy that owns this mini says that the engine (of the bike in the pictures) is a two-stroke Jacobsen from the 1950's era.

The 1967 Lil Indian mini bike for sale in this classified would make a great bike to add to your collection of Old Indian motorcycles. It would also be a lot of fun for the kids or as a pit bike or I can imagine a circus clown using it in his act or riding it in a parade.
