Will Buell Motorcycle Parts fit an 1100 Sportster

Could someone please tell me will Buell motorcycle parts fit an 1100 Sportster. I have heard that many Buell parts are interchangeable with parts on a 1200 sportster.


I'm wondering if they will work with my 1986 1100 evo motor? If you can help me out with this problem (before I go and buy a bunch of parts and waste time and money), I would really appreciate your help.
