But before you start cruising the classfieds let me tell you how our classifieds work and don’t worry, it won’t take but a minute and you will be on your way.


You will see tabs to direct you to the brand that you are looking for and within that main category you will see sub-categories for various models. When you find something that interests you, read the classified and if you want to talk about making a deal check to see how the seller prefers to be contacted.

Many times they post a phone number which is nice, but there are some sellers who want to be emailed by serious buyers only.

If you would like to communicate with someone who has a used Yamaha virago for sale on GoGoCycles Motorcycle Classifieds that you might want to buy, to email them all you have to do is click on the COMMENTS link found at the bottom of the classified ad. In the email you may ask questions, make requests for more pictures or whatever be sure to leave your own contact information.

When you click the button to send your messaget, the seller should respond in whatever way you specified IF he or she still has the Yamaha Virago for sale. Sellers are asked to let us know when they no long have their used Virago for sale but sometimes they don’t so don’t send me a mean message just because they don’t email or call you back as you expected.

The first thing to do is to write a detailed description of your Yamaha Virago using good grammar (PLEASE DON’T TYPE IN CAPS and spell check your ad). Include as many details regarding the bike as possible including the year it was manufactured. Please specify whether the bike you want to sell is a Yamaha Virago 250, Yamaha Virago 535 or a Yamaha Virago 1100…you get the picture plus a list of any accessories you’ve added, a list of any spare motorcycle parts that you will pass on and any helmets, saddlebags or gear that you are throwing in the deal.

THEN, you should take pictures of the Yamaha Virago for sale that feature its best side (if it has one). Sellers are permitted to upload as many as four pictures of their motorcycle or as few as one if you think that’s all you need. You can even skip uploading pictures altogether if you choose. But if you do you should expect to get lots of (snarky) comments from potential buyers that want to know why there are no pictures of the bike!

When you are finished writing a glowing description and uploading all those pictures of the Virago, if you still want to sell it you can preview your ad to see if it looks like you want it to and then you can submit it.
