My 1982 Yamaha Virago 920 motorcycle for sale has upgraded Yamaha Virago parts and accessories and has just over 1,500 miles clocked on the dial. It has had only two previous owners and comes with a clean title.

The motorcycle has never been wrecked or laid down. It was recently tuned up. The motorcycle comes with a Clymer's motorcycle manual and a sissy bar. Yamaha Virago parts for sale are easy to find as this was a very popular model. The bike is painted all black and is in pristine condition.

I've removed the 1982 920 Virago Fairing for Sale fairing from the Yamaha motorcycle you see in the pictures above and now you can buy it! The part is in good condition with the exception of a crack in the bottom of the windshield. All of the brackets and shields are included. Realistically, it will need to be replaced but this is one of the more expensive used Yamaha motorcycle parts to purchase so if you can use it, this deal will save you some money. 1985 YAMAHA VIRAGO 1000 - NEED USED PARTS

I have many Yamahas but my newest is the 1985 Yamaha Virago 1000 and this want ad is for a used part. I was a Yamaha dealer until 1986. I need some used Yamaha Virago parts for the bike you see in the picture.

The Virago's starter clutch (bendix) is slipping badly. Many other bikes and four wheelers use a similar item that is very inexpensive but these parts will not fit a Virago.

Since this is a Yamaha Virago part that rarely breaks I need a used one (#5A8-15570-00) from some poor donor bike. Parts from a 750 Virago won't work. I need the part from aabout a 1985 model to about a 1993.

Comment Title: Need help with Virago problems

My friend owns a 1985 Yamaha Virago 1000 and has not ridden it for five years or so. Last year he decided to get it and the engine quit on him. He took it to some half ass bike repair dealer to have a look at it. The guy basically just took his money and gave the Yamaha Virago back to him and didn't even bother to fully assemble it. He told him that the bike had a blown rod.


The motorcycle only has 8,000 miles on it and we started troubleshooting it last night to see if we might be able to find the problem ourselves. At first we couldn't even get the Yahama to roll over. I removed the motorcycle seat and took all the electrical connections apart and found a little corrosion on most of the terminals. We removed the corrosion and took out the sparkplugs. It rolled over once and both cylinders had compression but that was all; it wouldn't roll over again.

Can anybody give us a clue on what might be wrong with this Yamaha Virago? If you have any ideas on what it could be would you please leave your opinions and comment on this motorcycle classifieds page? Maybe the other guy who needs the 1985 YAMAHA VIRAGO parts has some suggestions on how to fix it?
