Many parts are still available through Classic Restorations in Great Britain. Beware of buying parts made in India as a lot of them are absolute rubbish. I got caught and had to re-purchase at great cost. There are still people making good quality mudguards with straight centre ridges and pressed from one piece of metal. The bad ones I purchased were made from welded strips of metal which gave a ripple effect in the surfaces. Graham B.

I have a 1950(THE wild-1),54,& a trw,so I may have parts U need 4 restore. I see that it has sold but in my opinion it is a rolling basket case. I don't see anything that belongs on a 52 model. At least it exists,so it can be done. The last thing we need is another snotty looking cob-job bob-job. I hope that whoever bought it does the restoration right or will find a guy who will. BobbyB.

I have one of these myself and it would be great to own another one. I love the old bike and it has been passed down through the family. I would like to have one to fix up for my grandson if I could find one at the right price.

Brando rode a 51 in the wild ones I was told I just got a complete basket case for 1700 I can't wait to fix it up I have to build a Bobber out of it for lack of some parts that aren't there good luck dave in cally

I actually owned one of these in my younger years and have fond memories of it. Your pictures really took me back. You shouldn't have any trouble selling it and if I were younger I would buy it myself.
