1955 Bobber Project Motorcycle

I want to buy a 1955 bobber project motorcycle with a straight frame (at the very least) but the condition of the rest of the motorcycle does not matter. My son is graduating college next summer and after putting two kids through college: it's going to be a blue light special.

I also need to know how to lower and extend and hardtail a bobber hardhead.
