The 1973 Triumph Bonneville 750 T140v for sale is an completely re-done, "like new" 750cc twin vintage motorcycle. Nothing was spared in the restoration of this old motorcycle; everything is absolutely like new and it has been completely redone both inside and out. The Triumph is perfect from under the fenders across the seat and "everywhere" is classic perfection.

The bike is a 5 speed with front disk, 2nd year of oil in frame. Receipts, tool kit and extra parts come with the sale.


The Bonneville starts first time, every time and runs like the champion that it is via the Bonneville Salt Flats speed records, hence the name "Bonneville".

Interesting 1973 Triumph Bonneville T140V Facts

This particular 1973 Triumph T140 is a unique and rare find which is known by many to be "the best of the best" of the classic Bonnevilles. 1973 was the last year of this classic style and only the 2nd year where Triumph went to an "oil in the frame" design to make room for the 5 speed tranny (1st year (1972) they put oil in fame it had a few problems with foaming, 2nd year (1973) was spot on. Plus, 1973 was the first year for front disc brakes and more shock/fork travel, so this is the most highly sought after and reliable year for this style.

The Triumph motorcycle company became part of BSA and a labor strike at BSA forced Triumph to halt production part way into 1973 and the strike lasted several years just as Triumph perfected the design of this bike making it a low production model with even fewer bikes exported to the US. Afterwards, production did resume, so parts are still available.

The T140v is a museum quality, complete ground up restoration on a low mileage vintage motorcycle with original 4800 miles.

The paint color is a Striking Fire Red, Metallic Gold, Pin Stripe with a fine clear coat finish.
