I been running for over 7 seven years now I haVE TWO BIKES ONE a 1986 450 rebel this bike was used and the person I brought from didn't do much on its up keep. I paid 3000.00 for the bike it is completely dressed. windshield, saddle bags, sissy bar with back rest. I have replaced socket chain front tire new brakes front and back. this bike has 16,549 on the bike. It in the shop now getting so small things do to it. gas tank is in great shape which from what I understand is very hard to find. I'm asking 1800.00 firm,. this in Arkansas. this a great beginners bike I know ride a 2008 Honda shadow spirit.

I bought a 450CC Rebel in the spring of 1987, I had the bike for about 5 years and when I moved to New York I sold it because we didn't have room to bring it with us from Michigan. I cried for 2 days about selling it. I have been trying to talk my wife into letting me get another one ever since. This bike has the looks and the feel of a Harley from the same era, but with more reliability. One of the best bikes ever.

I am a 42 yr old female that JUST got my endorsement, and the class I took put me on a 250 rebel for me to learn on. Since I am only 5'2", this was a perfect pairing. After I got my certification I immediately began looking for a 450 honda rebel, and was fortunate to find one in ohio. Since they only made the 450 for 2 years, it was more difficult to track one locally.

I cant rave enough about this bike. I not only found it a pleasure to ride, but its reliability was also equally important, since I am not handy at repairs. I thought I would outgrow this bike after while, but found that its powerful enough to even impress my die-hard Harley only friends.

If you're thinking of buying a bike for someone that is new to riding, run, dont walk to pick up this bike.
