The old Ironhead Sportster has had all of the
cables, brakes, wheel bearings, steering head bearings, swing arm bearings shaft, drag pipes almost every bolt, drive chain, primary chain tensioner assembly and the ignition switch replaced.

I have personally rewired the entire motorcycle, the points have been replaced with electronic ignition and it has new coil and plug wires.

It has Dunlop motorcycle tires on front and rear that have about 1500 miles on them and new tubes.

I installed a new battery, generator and regulator and I recently replaced one (1) exhaust cam and lifter. The other cams and lifters looked new so I left them in place.


At the time that I was working on that, I gutted the other side to pull the transmission so I could replace the shifter pawls. All of the gears and the bearings on the 1974 IRONHEAD HARLEY SPORTSTER for Sale looked good and the clutch plates and discs looked new and everything feels good when riding the motorcycle.

All of the gaskets and seals were replaced at this time and amazingly there were no leaks anywhere on the engine or in the transmission!

This vintage Harley Davidson sportster is kickstart only but that's easy enough for anybody to manage if you know the trick.

This old girl really turns heads, hauls ass and is a blast to ride.

I have been an auto mechanic for 35 years and did all the repair work myself except for rebuilding the front forks which Bikers Dream in Hueytown did. Jeff McClung, a good friend of mine, took care of the paint job.

I have nearly $7000.00 invested customizing the Ironhead and I'm only asking half that, $3500.00. PROBLEM WITH MY HARLEY DAVIDSON SPORTSTER SIDECAR

I've got a little problem with my Harley Davidson Sportster sidecar. I am putting a side car on my 1996 Sportster for the kids and the huge problem is the exhaust fumes and especially the loud exhaust noise next to the kids' ears.

Can you tell me where I can get one like yours? The other goal is to raise it up above the frame bottom since we are putting dot knobbies and a chain conversion to go off the beaten path a bit.

And besides the problem with my Harley Davidson sportster sidecar,I'm also looking for torque at usable speeds since about 55 will be tops with this sprocket set up : r 51 f 20.

I have a 1995 Harley Sportster 1200 evolution motorcycle for Sale for a very low price of $4,000.

The Sportster has custom 1/4 drag bars, motorcycle seat, rear view mirrors, Screaming Eagle exhaust and carb jets. I have installed a new speedometer and have ridden the motorcycle an estimated 33,000 miles after the speedometer replacement. I have also installed new head gaskets, drive belt and a lot of chrome.

There are many extras, including all factory original parts (bars, motorcycle seat, exhaust pipes, mirrors, windshield ext.). There is no rust on the Harley Sportster 1200. I have diligently kept it washed, polished and it has always been garage kept. I have made a point to ride it regularly, which was lots of fun because it runs great, sounds great and has lots of power.

If you read consumer reviews, you already know that the 1995 Harley Sportster 1200 evolution is a great bike. I'm only selling it due to the recent purchase of a new motorcycle.

This cool 2004 Harley Davidson XL1200 Sportster has been chromed out and when the D and D exhaust, jet kit, and air sucker kit was installed, the work was done by Legacy HD in Midland, Texas and was dyno tuned to perfection!

This excellent used Harley Davidson motorcycle for sale is clean and READY TO RIDE! Mechanically the sporty has NO problems. The only concern might be that the starter will make a weird noise every 25 or 30 starts. It is not going out and has no bad connections. The bike has done this since I bought it in 2005.

I have asked the mechanics on three separate occasions to look at it and they always tell me, it's normal and has no issues.

This 2004 Harley XL1200C Sportster is a 6 year old motorcycle that has been ridden OUTSIDE and has not been kept in the showroom and ridden in an indoor racing facility without rocks, wind and bugs. The bike still looks great, but it does have minor blemishes and imperfections common to a 6 year old motorcycle!

It does not have dents in the motorcycle's paint is not faded, there are just a few MINOR imperfections as listed in the classified below.

The bike has just under 9500 miles, I purchased her in Phoenix, Arizona a few years ago when she had 126 miles on her. The bike comes with a clean title as I just payed her off thru Eaglemark savings bank, Harley Davidson's bank, who by the way I highly recommend as they will offer you financing with no problems!


I received the title for the 2004 Harley Davidson XL 1200C Sportster in mail last week so all the new owner needs is my signature and the keys and she is ready to go! She cranks, runs and drives great, has 5 speed transmission.

The sportster has always been serviced on time at a Harley Shop and kept in garage until I moved here a couple months ago where she is now stored under covered parking.

This bike also has alarm system that has a computer coded key, I have the 2 original alarm pads as well as the keys.

The motorcycle tires and front rim have less than 1,000 miles on them because I rarely ride her anymore. You will not find a cleaner and more reliable Harley Sportster for this or any other price, I personally have ridden her from Phoenix, AZ to Midland Texas with no problems.


The stated motorcycle blue book value is over $7000 for a motorcycle with double the miles. I need sell her so that I can not a new jeep.

Ok, got a couple questions about the paint/clear coat. The paint and clear coat are in excellent condition, there are 2 or 3 very minor scratches on the tank that could easily be buffed out if they bother you, these are less than an inch long, just from keys probably. There is a very small pinhole in the seat that has been there and same size since I bought the bike. The right rear blinker has some minor scratches on chrome. That should cover everything, everything works apparantly that doesnt get covered when I said runs great. Alarm and all lighting and electrical work properly on the 2004 Harley XL 1200C Sportster for sale!

The modified engine has maybe 45 minutes running time tops (idol time) in the motorcycle shop that was after the rebuild. This bike's engine has a killer sound to it that can only come from a Harley with fine tuned engine and good set of pipes. You know the rumble that I'm talking about. It's loud enough to let folks know that you're coming and grouchy enough to make them turn and take a quick look to see what you're riding. This Harley Ironhead Sportster is without a doubt, your true, vintage Harley classic.

in 1996 Harley sportster for sale has been ridden 22,000 mostly highway miles. It has both a speedometer and tachometer, Screaming Eagle intake, dual front disk brakes, lots of chrome, brand new tins, new dunlop brand motorcycle tires, new gas shocks, all four shocks adjust, a detachable windshield, a quick detach sissy bar, highway bars with foot pegs and a set of leather saddle bags if you want them.

The 1996 Harley Davidson Sportster and Motorcycle Trailer for Sale has been stored in a heated garage and all routine maintenance has been kept up on the bike by myself. The only problem with the bike is that just recently the speedometer has gone wacky! It has a new speed sensor and the motorcycle cranks, runs great and rides very nicely!

I have the original tins as pictured which will be included in the deal for the right offer.

I have a custom, black 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster XL for Sale that is a one owner (adult owned) bike that has served me very well. I had it converted from an 883 to a 1200 which gave the motorcycle lots of power.

This is the first year for the rubber mounted engine and 150mm rear tire so the bike rides smooth, straight and strong. I've never had any problems with this bike and it's been stored in a heated garage, covered and plugged into a battery tender.

I have a clean title in hand and documentation of all maintenance work performed by Bergen County Harley Davidson dealership. Please take note that the Motorcycles tires are wet in the pictures because I just washed her.
