Older Popup Tent Camper for Sale - A Great Deal
by Rick
(South Garner)
The older popup tent camper for sale will be a great deal for the right person! Your fellow campers will be drawn to the retro look of this camping trailer!
This little beauty features a huge interior and has heavy-duty canvas fabric and a plastic roof overhead. The is more than 7 feet of headroom!
The camper is capable of sleeping 6 people, but to say it will sleep 4 adults would be more believable.
The trailer can easily be ventilated with all windows open and a decent fan blowing in the warm weather months.

In cold weather it can be quickly warmed and stays warm and cozy in winter using a small propane heater.
The vintage 1973 Camel Oasis 3 camper features loads of storage room and is very lightweight at less than 600 pounds (empty)!
Just buy a couple of sleeping bags or inflatable mattresses and you are ready to camp! The (optional) awning didn't come with it.
The rest of the Camel is either original or refurbished. I also have the unique, stock taillights.
There is really too much to list in re: to the Camel's features, etc. but I am selling ONLY the camper with a few accessories.
I would be willing to discuss those accessories as well as any other items I am willing to include in the sale for an additional charge.
The camping trailer is in South Garner and my price is $1750. You are welcome to call with questions or to make an appointment but do NOT call to offer some crazy,
lowball price. YOu will only embarrass yourself.
The vintage Camel pop up camper is unique and rare! If you are taking the approach that this is just an 'old camper' that you can negotiate to buy at a cheap price, you should be looking for another kind of lightweight used camping trailer.
This deal is for those who appreciate the older look and experience of back-to-basics camping; no AC, no potty, no fan, no water, no cranking the top up, no electrical system, etc.
There are old brochures available online
HERE if you want to read the history of the Camel popup camper.
To be clear, this trailer is just one step up from a tent but it is priced right and very interesting!
