Pristine 1962 Harley Panhead
by Dennis
(Silver Point)
I bought the pristine 1962 Harley Panhead for sale in 1968 when the motorcycle had about 5000 miles on her. The transmission was locked in gear and I replaced the originals with Andrews gears.
I also had the cam replaced with a mild Andrews at about 12000 miles due to a flat spot on a lobe due to a factory defect.
The guides and valves were replaced to handle unleaded gas.

The paint on the 1962 Harley Davidson Panhead is original as well as the bags.
I had the dual buddy seat reupholstered in white leather trimmed with white fringe and conchoes by a skilled leather smith.
The motorcycle's tires are fresh Dunlaps.
All else on the 1962 Harley Panhead is pretty much all original and there are only 21000 original miles on this rare beauty.
I am 68 years old and kick starting a motorcycle these days isn't nearly as much fun as it was when I was 29 years old so I need to step up to an electric start bike.
You won't find a more pristine Panhead for sale on Craigslist or in an Ebay auction so hurry and make an offer before it gets away from you!
Strike Lightning would also encourage bikers to submit a review of the
Pristine 1962 Harley Panhead to make the biker community aware of any problems that are commonly associated with the vintage Harley or to highlight its positive features and help potential buyers make informed decisions.
If you would like to work out a trade for the Panhead or make an offer in cash you are welcome to e-mail me your questions and offers using the space below that has been provided by Strike Lightning
Used Motorcycles for Sale (and PLEASE do not neglect to include your contact information in your email or to provide a phone number or email address!) so that I can respond with answers to your questions or after consideration of your best offer as quickly as possible.
THIS PRISTINE PANHEAD IS NO LONGER FOR SALE ! but you can find another
Harley for sale right here on Strike Lightning so don't leave before you take a look to see what's available!
I will consider a trade for the vintage Panhead for possibly a Harley-Davidson Road King, Classic or Ultra with low miles along with some cash or I would want $19,620 cash for her.
