Annual Poker Motorcycle Poker Run for Michigan Youth ChalleNGe Academy P.T.S. A 1ST

This motorcycle poker run is for the benefit of the Michigan Youth ChalleNGe Academy (PTSA) Parent, Teacher, Student, Association.

DATE AND LOCATION

The date of the run is May 17, 2009 starting at the VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, Michigan (MI).

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

All clubs and colors are invited to attend.

REGISTRATION

The registration will take place from 11am to 1pm with a rider briefing from 1:15pm to 1:25pm.

DEPARTURE

Kickstands up and bikes on their way at 1:30pm for a 1 to 2 hour ride.

TICKET PRICE

Admission to the poker run is $10 for a single rider and $15 with passenger.

Alcoholic beverages on VA grounds is prohibited and the rule will be enforced


All profits from the motorcycle poker run will go to support Class XX of the Youth Challenge Academy.

The Michigan Youth ChalleNGe is a para-military program for at risk teens from the age of 16 to age 19. It is a residential program that is 22 weeks long and exists to help kids get their life going back in the right direction. The program help them to get their life on the best track for success.

Bikers that can make it should make a commitment to please show up for the good the support will do as well as the fun they will have on the poker run. It's for a very good cause and we'd love to see and have a chance to hang out with you.

Benefit Motorcycle Ride for Loreen Wickens

We invite you to attend the Benefit Motorcycle Ride in Ionia Michigan that is being held for Loreen Wickens. Loreen was diagnosed in September with cancer. This fine lady is a representative for Thunder Roads magazine and is often seen in our area covering various motorcycle rallies and biker events.

Loreen comes from the Charlotte area and currently lives in Lake Odessa. Unfortunately as with so many people, Loreen does not have any health insurance. She will be taking her treatments to fight this disease at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. At this time the plan is to undergo a 3 month course of treatment and will be taking chemotherapy every week.

On October 24, 2009 Daryl Brodbeck will officially kick off the Benefit Motorcycle Ride for Loreen Wickens at Corner Landing (located at the Corner of Grand River and M-66) at 11:00 am.

Come one and come all! Vehicles of all kinds are welcome to participate and the more the merrier!

This is a timeline of the event:
• At 11:30 in the morning (11:30 am) participants will depart from the Corner Landing Restaurant located at 128 W. Grand River Avenue in Ionia, MI 48846
• At 12:15 pm bikers will arrive at CB’s bar located at 200 State St., Charlotte, MI 48813
• At 1:30 pm bikers will leave CB’s bar
• At 2:00 pm: Bikers should arrive at Maple Leaf Inn located at 298 W. Main Street, Vermontville, MI 49096
•At 2:30 pm motorcycle games will begin
•Between 3:00 – 4:00 pm the will be a benefit lunch where participants of the Benefit Motorcycle Ride for Loreen Wickens can make donations and eat a meal.
•At 4:15 pm there will be a benefit auction
•After the conclusion of the benefit auction there will be a 50/50 drawing.
Participants will be offered the chance to purchase 50/50 tickets at each stop on the ride. Tickets will be 2 tickets for $1 or 12 tickets for $5
•Karaoke

Anybody who knows Loreen is aware that Halloween is her favorite holiday, so we will be doing a Halloween theme in her honor giving our friends an opportunity to dress up a week early!

Bike to Beat Breast Cancer Motorcycle Poker Run 2010 in Flint Michigan on June 6, 2010

Make plans to help us fight breast cancer at the Bike to Beat Breast Cancer Motorcycle Poker Run 2010 in Flint Michigan on June 6, 2010! The Michigan motorcycle event will begin at Vehicle City Harley Davidson located on
2400 Austin Parkway, Flint Michigan 48507.



Registration for the poker run begins at 11am with the last bike out at 12 noon!

Participants will ride through Michigan's scenic thumb, stopping at three (3) bars and pubs along the way to collect their cards with the best poker hands at the end declared the winners!

The ride will end at Bubba O'Malleys on
1076 S. Belsay Rd., Burton MI and dinner and beverages will be served, along with entertainment including a Silent Auction, drawings for Door prizes and the presentation of other prizes and awards!

The cost to participate in the Bike to Beat Breast Cancer Motorcycle Poker Run 2010 in Flint Michigan on June 6, 2010 is only $25.00 per bike plus $5.00 per passenger for dinner costs.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

Full Circle Breast Cancer Motorcycle Poker Run in Flint Michigan

The Full Circle Breast Cancer Motorcycle Poker Run in Flint Michigan is a progressive poker run that is scheduled for June 18, 2011 and will be starting at Clio Fire Department on M-57.

Registration for this Michigan motorcycle event will start at 9am – noon Last bike out at noon/last bike in 5pm.

The ride ends at the Flint Motorcycle Club Farrand Rd just west of M-15 Otisville
Biker breakfast offered from 9am-noon at Clio Fire Dept.

participants will be honoring our Veterans along our ride by stopping at the American Legion and VFW.

Cost to participate is $10 per person and the goal of the motorcycle ride is to raise money for people in our community affected by breast cancer and other cancers.

Money will be donated to Genesys Hurley Cancer Center and Great Lakes Cancer Center and The American Cancer Society.

Send a Kid to Camp "Ride and Dine" Motorcycle Rally in Michigan

The Send a Kid to Camp "Ride and Dine" Motorcycle Rally in Michigan is the 1st Annual Motorcycle Rally for the YMCA of Greater Flint. This Michigan motorcycle event "Kickstarts" the Partner with Youth Campaign.

This Campaign provides scholarship money to all children and families to financially enable them to participate in YMCA Programs such as swimming lessons, summer camp, family programs and much more.

The date of the event is Sunday September 18th with Check-In and Late Registration
beginning at 12:00 Noon.
The motorcycle ride will depart promptly at 1:00pm Rain or Shine

Michigan Youth Challenge Academy 2nd Annual Motorcycle Poker Run 5- 22-2010

The Michigan Youth Challenge Academy 2nd Annual Motorcycle Poker Run will be our 2nd annual poker run to support the Michigan Youth Challenge Academy.

This year's Michigan motorcycle event will be a 75 mile run starting in Battle Creek Michigan starting at the VA Medical Center. This run will have three card drawing sites at some killer locations.

May 22, 2010 is the date of the poker run and times are as follows.

At 10:00 am all participants will gather to see the cadets and to show off your motorcycle.

Rioters will depart around 1:30 pm to start the 75 trip.

ALL MAKES AND MODELS OF MOTORCYCLES, ALL CLUBS AND ALL COLORS ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.

We have some outstanding people who we call our support crew. Some of those great people are associated with Biltwell INC., FabKev, Crazy Horse Speed Shop and Hawkeye superbikes.

Riders will have a chance to win some great raffle prizes and giveaways that will be presented throughout the day of the Michigan Youth Challenge Academy 2nd Annual Motorcycle Poker Run.
