The 2007 Yamaha TW200 Dual Sport for sale by owner is a Blue/White/Black, 200cc, 5 speed, 2007 Yamaha Dual Sport Trailway TW200 Dual Purpose Enduro, On & Off Road, Trail Bike with a 4 stroke 200cc, motorcycle engine. It has a five speed transmission, 1 down and 4 up shifter, electric start, gets 70-80mpg and currently has about 1,615 odometer miles. 100 plus mile range, helmet lock. Everything on the motorcycle is in all in all fabulous condition both cosmetically and as far as performance is concerned.



it is not in showroom or show bike condition but it has been exclusively adult ridden and is in very good, nice used condition and is ready to ride.

The bike has two rubbed areas on the handlebars where tie downs were hooked and a few,only 3 or 4, very slight, difficult-to-see brush scratches in the plastic along with easy to touch up scratches in the silver paint on the trailing arms. The fuel tank is perfect with absolutely no dents, dings, nicks or scratches and the paint finishes shiny. The bike has never been wrecked, laid down, crashed or used for racing.

If you need a helmet I’ll throw in a Bell L with clear, flip up shield and red shell, ($100 value).

I’ve looked around and priced the bike middle of the range. If you’re looking for a dirt cheap bike or a “steal” this isn’t it. Save us both some time. ;-)

Before I bought this bike I looked at quite a few of the options to be on two wheels, catch some breeze and get around. I’ve owned Yamaha & Honda before and I looked at Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, Ducati, BMW, Suzuki, Buel. I also looked at Aprilia, Piaggio, Vespa Scooters along with some of the Chinese import clones with clever names. I looked at 49cc, 125cc, 150cc, 175cc, 250cc, 500cc and larger.

I chose the TW200 for its quality & for being an all-purpose, easy to handle, versatile motorcycle. It will do 60mph on the highway as geared and saunter along a trail at 5mph, lightweight at a little over 200 pounds, it will go over 100 miles on a tank. The Trailway Café sport fairing is well designed for the TW200, it’s big enough to deflect the tailwind gust from big trucks going the other way and avoid that unsettling “whoomp” hitting you in the chest and it’s small enough that it doesn’t interfere with trail riding.

I’ve used the 2007 Yamaha TW200 for commuting and urban transportation, getting groceries, running errands, it carries two people with ease. The bike is great in city traffic as well as for running to nearby towns, accelerating faster than most cars, wide power band with tight gear ratio, comfortable to manage in traffic, turn signals are easily operated without looking.

I have ridden freeways for short distances and didn’t care much for it. This TW200, with stock gearing, is red-lined at about 55-60mph. It still has plenty of throttle left and it isn’t screaming but I haven’t been willing to push it although it can be geared for riding at higher top speeds.

What I absolutely love about the dual sport is being able to ride it to an off road attraction. and then have a great trail bike. Yamaha has refined this dual sport model over more than 15 years until it’s now very well designed, beautifully balanced and handles very well on most any terrain.

It comes with an oversized long wearing rear donut; a really, really fat tire that gets noticed when people come to take a closer look. Every time you park this motorcycle you will meet new people.
