Illinois Great Rivers Fall Motorcycle Ride

The Illinois Great Rivers Fall Motorcycle Ride has been planned and organized by the Great Rivers Country Regional Tourism Development Office and the Great River Road in Illinois National Scenic Byway in conjunction with the Alton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Quincy Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Galena/Jo Daviess County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

As you might imagine the combination of all of these organizations are putting together an Illinois motorcycle event that you will not want to miss that is being held in honor of National Scenic Byway week.

The ride will start October 6th in Galena and Alton and head to Quincy, Illinois.

Registration, blessing of the bikes and a kickoff Breakfast will take place from 7am - 9am at the Chestnut Mountain Resort in Galena or the Alton Sports Tap in Alton.

There will be stops at local attractions and points of interest along the way and upon arrival in Quincy, there will be a motorcycle show with prizes, a winner for the best poker hand, dinner, and entertainment.

Participants can preregister anytime from now until September 21st at a cost of $50 per rider or $90 with passenger. After September 21st registration for the event will increase to $60 per rider or $100 with passenger. Veterans will receive a $10 discount throughout registration.

Participants are invited to register on October 5th between the hours of 4pm - 8pm at the Chestnut Mountain Resort in Galena or the Alton Sports Tap in Alton.

Register on October 6th from 7am – 9am at the Chestnut Mountain Resort or the Lewis and Clark Confluence Tower in Hartford. Registration includes a ride t-shirt, continental breakfast, lunch, dinner and entertainment.
