Nautical Star Skull Tattoo

The blue and black nautical star skull tattoo design came out of "In The Skin Studios" located in Pasadena, California. The actual star portion of the tattoo measures about 3 inches.

I have identical tattoos on each arm and originally put them on my arms to symbolize much needed guidance in my life. Finding myself in some pretty dark spots, I surrounded the star with a design that I made (which was slightly changed by a great tattoo artist in Pasadena Ca.- Max Scott) and colored the star blue to match the color of my eyes.

The skull symbolizes the person I found myself to be when I was being guided by a shitload of drugs in my brain. It now reminds me to watch my great ideas closely because they usually aren't the best.
