4 generations of Supermen Tattoo

I came up with the idea for my 4 generations of Supermen Tattoo when I was in my mid-twenties. Since my childhood, I have always been a big Superman fan and since my sister is an artist, I described my idea for this orginal Superman tattoo to her and had her draw it up for me.

The design is the Superman logo made to look like steel with rivets and reflective looking parts.

There is a flowing banner in a half-circle shape around the symbol starting on the left, going around the bottom and stopping on the right. Across this banner are the 3 letter initials and birth years of my grandfather, my father, me and my 4 sons.

These pictures are the 3 stages it took during one day to complete the tattoo.
