When I see classifieds come through listing used trike motorcycles for sale, I have to wonder about the reason behind the sale and why the owner is (on more than one occasion) willing to take pennies on the dollar for custom trikes that he owned for a very short period of time. I know I don’t have to tell you that these things don’t come cheap when bought new.
They may not cost a lot more than a two wheel, but enough that it would cause most motorcycle enthusiasts to stop and think before writing a check. That brings me to the next question that I have about trikes. If you don’t like the way they look or don’t know squat about how they handle on the road or ride with a passenger, etc. why would you ever buy one in the first place?

Whatever your reasons are for selling your three-wheeler you can bet that there are a lot of older riders that will be anxious to take it off your hands for the right price. I’ve seen a huge number of older couples high-tailing it down the highway without a care in the world. And I expect to see more interest in used trike motorcycles for sale as prime riding season approaches in the short term and as for the long term...well, even bikers get old if they're lucky.

As baby boomer bikers age and turn to trikes that are kinder to your legs, I would imagine prices are going to rise with increased demand in the long run. The classifieds listing Harley trikes for sale on this site especially have drawn a huge amount of interest as well as the VW trikes for sale and I expect to see this trend spread to other brands before too long.

Keep your eyes open for used trike motorcycles for sale on Strike Lightning Used Motorcycles for Sale, Reviews, Pictures and Classified Ads because they may just present an excellent investment opportunity if you’re interested in that sort of thing.
