Getting to see and admire the custom motorcycles that come through our accessory and paint shop is one of the perks of this job. Each and every biker has his or her own vision of what they want their bike to look like. I'm getting pretty good at guessing what kind of ride that the customers have when they come in the front door!
I'm talking about basic tastes in brands. I can spot the dyed in the wool Hawg lovers from the metrics with my eyes closed! Then you have the traditional bikers like the gentleman who owns the Panhead in the picture above. Classic bikers want classic motorcycles.
This is where careful choice of paint jobs for custom motorcycles and accessories comes in. A perfect balance in chrome and other accessories is a must whether building the ultimate chopper or refurbishing a classic. The Corbin motorcycle seat on this bike is a great choice. It's modern, comfortable and yet suits the vintage feel of this motorcycle perfectly!
Individual taste in each piece of chrome comes into play. For instance, the choice of exhaust or pipes. Some riders go for the look. Others prefer the sound and then there's always the preference of keeping as many stock items as possible on these rare and valuable machines.
