Brass Knuckles Tattoo

(Chambersburg PA)

Brass Knuckles Tattoo - Brass Knucks = Flying teeth

Brass Knuckles Tattoo - Brass Knucks = Flying teeth

I got this Brass Knuckles Tattoo because I think we all know somebody that could use a lil knuckle treatment, don't we?

There has been a lot of discussion what this tattoo design means. One meaning that I've read is that this tattoo originated in the Vietnam era and that it symbolized the corruption over there and how people would turn on one another in a heartbeat and they would say that it wasn't wise to trust your brother over your enemy.

From the webmaster:

Your FLYING Teeth tattoo brought to mind a story that I read about a similar tattoo earlier this year.

This tatto artist was actually arrested for tattooing brass knuckles on the lower back of a 16-year-old girl in his basement.

They hung him with a charge of reckless endangerment, tattooing a person under 18 and violating state health guidelines. He later posted bond and was released.

He got arrested after the girl's dad complained that he had not given permission for the brass knuckles tattoo and I guess she was underage.

The girl's dad told the law that the "artist" (and I'm using the term lightly here because of his lack of ethics) had been standing outside a high school offering to do tattoos for the students for $40. And get this....it was alleged that the guy was reusing tattoo needles without sterilizing them.

After they rated the guy's home with Health Department officials they found a table with several items of tattoo equipment including inks and some needles.

Let this be a lesson to us all to be darn careful who does our ink, right?

Thanks for sharing your "Flying Teeth" tat with Strike Lightning Motorcycle Classifieds.
