MOTORCYCLE ICE RACING WRECK

The title of this motorcycle ice racing wreck video says the movie is of a crash and flip where the rider almost dies. Horrible pictures of a guy bleeding with broken bones went through my mind and caused me to pause and brace myself for the horrible motorcycle wreck I was about to see.


As you can see the title "Unbelievable crash and flip - rider nearly dies!!!!! " is exaggerated but I managed to overcome my disgust at the member's over the top (read: false) title that was probably meant to pull in traffic and enjoy the ride (and yes, the wreck although not anywhere near fatal) from the driver's view through a Go Pro HD camera he had mounted on his chest.

As far as the motorcycle ice racing wreck bring the rider close to death, he stated in the comments section that he got lucky and only hit his knee on the bar as I was ejected from the bike.

There's an old saying where I live that goes something like this, "You don't like the weather? Wait 10 minutes it'll change." I know this to be true since once I left the house with the sun shining only to have to stay in a motel 100 miles away because of blinding snow and icy road conditions.

Not being a biker that enjoys cold weather, the chances of me having a motorcycle wreck on an icy road, but anything can happen and it's good to be prepared for fast temperature drops and slick roads and bridges with warm clothes and good motorcycle insurance if the worst should come to pass.

It was pretty obvious after the guy got up and dusted himself off that he wasn't dead, huh? I'm glad that the guy didn't suffer injuries much less die. I don't appreciate hyped up titles either but like you, I thought the film was still pretty cool only for other reasons than the actual accident.
