One of the Gilera motorcycles runs and is ready to ride. One of the Gileras needs to be re-wired in order to get it running and ready to be ridden.

And the third old Gilera needs a motor which is not a problem since I also have four extra engines that turn free plus many parts.






I have all kinds of extra parts for a Sears Gilera bike.

My son and I have been putting together an early 1966 "basket case" Sears 106 motorcycle over the past few years.

Currently we're looking for a few hard to find original parts.

The first part we need is a cover that goes over the twist grip throttle where you open it to change out the throttle cable.

The second is a missing nut that holds the rear shock to the frame. Unlike the later models that have a ring on the face of this nut, the shock nut on this model has a smooth face with no ring.

The third item is a the half-circle bushing that goes on the handlebar u clamps to hold the handle bars down to the front forks.

The fourth item is a spring clamp that holds the exterior rubber fork boot onto the forks. The missing clamp we need is one of the larger upper clamps that is closest to the headlight. Finally we are looking for an internal rear wheel felt carrier assembly that is located inside the rear wheel next to the speedometer drive gear. The assembly consists of a steel disc, a felt washer and a cup.
