SUPERMAN CHEST TATTOO

Got my Superman chest tattoo like a week ago. first tattoo and I love it! It's cool because Superman's very first appearance ever in detective comics was him in this exact position holding up a car. I changed it up a bit but I think what I drew turned out awesome.

That is a pretty cool concept. Did you draw the pattern of your Superman chest tattoo and then take it to an artist? How receptive was the artist to working from your drawing? I was just wondering because some people have told me that some ink shops will only use their own designs or patterns.
