Exotic Dragon Upper Back Tattoo

Here are the details regarding my upper back dragon tattoo design that you see in the picture. I like dragons and after having one on my back for a few years I found another design that I like and added the one with color to the existing one that I had had for awhile.

Both dragon tattoos are custom drawings as the artist and I decided to make some changes from the original designs.

Hey Ken, Thanks for sharing your upper back dragon tattoo picture. One thing I've heard is that getting one of those detailed tattoos on your upper back and shoulders hurts like hell. Is that because the drawing is so big and the artist has to work so long on the design?

I believe yours is the first upper back dragon tattoo in Strike Lightning's tattoo gallery and it's a good one!

I was walking out of town one afternoon as I had limped my sporty in for some shop work and had no way back.
It would be about 11 miles home. Just as I crossed the bridge an old blazer stopped and the woman waved me in. Here she was the wife of a tattoo artist. His name is Ken and went to school for it, plus had prior service in the Army. He did a sleeve on my son after and moved on. Last I heard he was in Wellsville, Ohio down by the river. As for sensitive areas, the spine crossings brought what he described as a horse shaking flies at times.


I had an outline of the black dragon at the time from a guy who was not reliable and many years passed. Ken went over the outline and added a little. I saw his work and he drilled me as long as I would sit. We added the second one once the swelling went down and add a couple days. Part of the payment was a dozen eggs from my hens. Nothing like good brown eggs, lol.
